Vocabulary

There is no rush, but I rushed there anyway.

drawback – a negative thing, or a Con.   Pros and Cons.    a disadvantage

eg: One drawback of living in Shanghai is the expense.

eg: The only drawback of that location is the lack of an assistant.

cool – literal meaning (Not warm, not cold,      less than room temperature),, 2.     Interesting, popular, great

eg: Is that cool?   is that ok?    That’s not cool.

eg: He is cool headed, he doesn’t get upset easily.

chill1. V. to make something colder,      2. N. a cold feeling    3. to relax or be relaxed

eg: He is chill, he doesn’t get upset.

eg: Chill out, it’s not a big deal.

eg: I think you’re a chill guy. (relaxed easy going guy)

eg: Compared to Shanghai, Xiamen is chill.

pander – to say what you think people want to hear

eg: Perhaps she was pandering to her American classmates.

patriotic ADJ. – love your country

patriot N. – a person who loves their country

eg: He wasn’t patriotic enough to become president.
