eg: The boss asked me something that was a little over the line.

pursue – to chase after or follow

eg: There’s a stigma against women pursuing men, they may seem to be desperate or easy.

stigma – a thing in society that many people think is bad to do. often looked down on and maybe for no reason

eg: The stigma of having a female boss is completely based on gender discrimination. Only some old men would have a stigma about having a female boss.

cloud V. – to make sth. unclear, (by covering it in clouds)

eg: Prejudice in people’s minds often clouds their decisions.
