Writing exercise

One day, I was told from my boss that her friend requested her to take care of her friend’s cat, Siska for a few months. My boss loves cat very much therefore she agreed with it. Her friend is very happy for her decision. She also discussed with me if I can take care of this cat with her in the office. I was so excited to hear this good news because I love cat too.

On that Thursday, my boss brought a cat to office. When I saw her in my first eye, I had fallen in love with her. I wanted to touch her and held her at once but I was stopped by my boss. She said, it was not good for Siska because everything here are new for her. She must be nervous and we should give her more time. Let her feel our office is safe place for her. After one or two days, when she did feel safely and familiar with you, she would play with you.

At first, Siska always hided under cabinet, she went out only for food and bathroom. She seemed afraid to approach us. But after a few days, she can get along well with us. Now we are friends. She always sleeps on my lap or chair and jumps onto my table to purr for me. I love Siska and I proud of her because she brought a lot of fun to me during my working time.
