take out the stinger

diverse – having many different things all together

eg: America is a diverse country, all kinds of people can live there.

pearl – small white and smooth ball, found in animals in the sea

eg: My earrings probably have fake pearls

sting V.  – 1. when an insect hurts you with a sharp thing   2. A sharp and quick pain.

eg: I was stung by bees so many times when I was little.

eg: Those bees cant sting you, so don’t worry. But they do bite.

eg: I burned my hand, now it really stings if I put it under hot water.

eg: That high five was too hard, my hand really stings now.

stinger N. – a long and sharp thing, usually has poison, that insects use to attack

eg: You can eat a scorpion’s(Xie Zi) stinger if you cook it.

slang – li yu, words that are often used in different ways. Example: Chill, can mean relax. Hot, can mean attractive

eg: Hella, is slang from California, it is short for, “A hell of a lot of” which really means, a lot of, or so much.

eg: There’s hella people at the beach today, I don’t wanna go there.

eg: Celeste, you look hella beautiful today.
