we had some issues
space out / zone out – to simply not pay attention to anything at all, could be completely relaxed
eg: After work I go home and just zone out for about an hour to relax.
eg: On vacation i turn off my brain and just zone out.
chore – housework, a small job, usually one that you don’t want to do, but have to.
eg: Going through my e-mails after vacation is such a chore.
eg: If I’m free on weekends I will do a few chores at home.
appointment – a meeting with a professional for some help
eg: I have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow.
eg: I have an appointment to fix my car.
petty – small and unimportant, not serious, usually being negative about small things 2. care too much about small things
eg: I can’t bring up the dishes, because it’s kinda petty.
eg: He is really petty, he sent me a bill for the coffee he bought me.
eg: We used all the company’s petty cash on the trip.
a big deal – important or matters a lot
eg: Sharing a cup is not a big deal, I’m not worried about germs.
