I binge watch tv sometimes. I watched all of Game of thrones season one last night.

Too (Much) – more than you want, NOT the same as VERY

eg: Too much of a good thing is always bad.

combination – two things together.

eg: Binge watch, and binge drink, are combination verbs.

John Doe/ Jane Doe – an unidentified person, no real name

eg: The police found a John Doe in the lake, it looks like he died last night.

eg: Since she couldn’t remember anything they just called her Jane Doe.

predictable – can know what will happen in the future

eg: She is so predictable, she always gets a coffee and bagel for lunch.

tolerance – your ability to handle or bear something.

eg: Lisa has no alcohol tolerance, even one beer could be excessive.

allergic – you can not eat or come in contact with a certain substance, like milk, alcohol, wheat, peanuts, soy

eg: I’m a bit allergic to alcohol. I have a bad reaction to it.

Phrasal Verbs – Two or more words used together that make a new meaning, can often be guessed by the context of the sentence.

Add up – to make sense, to seem to be logical or true

eg: She said the meeting was at 8am, but his flight doesn’t land until 7:30. That schedule doesn’t add up, there is no way he can be here before the meeting starts.
