It’s still summer vacation, so I just went to check out the campus.

There are little few(not many) students on campus.

I don’t wanna get a few small salary

I didn’t really go there to check it out, I just wanted a quiet place to study.

maintain stay healthy

I don’t like to eat out/go out to eat. Because the food is not so great.

One of my flaws is drinking

Another flaw is that I don’t have business management experience

I didn’t have business experience. (You DO have it now)

it’s difficult to get a promotion

self-taught – you taught yourself how to do something.

eg: I am going to teach myself how to play guitar. I will watch a lot of videos about it.

eg: He is a self-taught computer genius. He never went to university, just read books at home.

sick of – really don’t like sth. because you had it too much

eg: I got sick of fast food in China really quick.

sick from – to get sick/ill because the food was probably not sanitary. cooks didn’t wash their hands.

eg: I got sick from some street food last week.

sanitary – not safe or clean enough for people

eg: I think keeping the fish outside is not sanitary.

eg: That restaurant was shut down because their kitchen was unsanitary.

brewery – a place that makes beer/ beer factory

eg: Shanghai brewery is just like Boxing Cat brewery.

eg: “The Refinery” in Xin Tian Di is owned by Shanghai Brewery, so they sell the same beer.

small – for size

eg: A small amount of people can speak English fluently.

eg: Small people can speak English fluently.  Why? Tall people can’t speak English???

few – for amount

eg: A few people can speak English fluently.
