Vocabulary

This year the Korean holiday is the same time as China, but longer.

Elastic – a stretchy material

eg: The pants are 98% cotton and 2% Elastene. (a kind of Elastic)

pull sth. off – to be able to do sth.             Do sth. well                   do sth. difficult

eg: Anybody can pull off Levi’s. They look good on anybody.

eg: I can’t believe we pulled off that plan, it took months to prepare, but we did it.

eg: I don’t think he will pull it off, he will probably fail.

durable – tough, not easily damaged

eg: I think Levi’s are very durable pants.

eg :Dell makes durable computers.

eg: iPhones are great, but not too durable.

secure ADJ – being safe

eg: iPhones are more secure than most other phones.

encryption – the data is mixed up and locked, so that not everyone can access it.

eg: The secret behind BitCoin is that it is powered by a 128-bit encryption for all storage and communication.
