Tell me about your new job in America.

I got my new job in USA two weeks ago. One day when I was surfing online I found this website and it offered an opportunity to go to USA to be a volunteer that can teach children Chinese for one year. I was interested about it so I applied it online and after 3 interviews I got my offer. So I will go there next week, which is very exciting for me because it’s my first time to visit USA. And I can catch up with my friend Tony there, since we haven’t seen each other for 3 years. I guess it will be a wonderful experience in my life.

One of my boss ,a Spanish guy, took me to have a meeting with him in a hotel yesterday. When we got there, his direct reporters just finished the profile of next year’s sales target. I was asked to copy all the stuff on the white board. When I was doing that they were giving presentation one by one, to my boss. The reason my boss took me to there is he wanted me to learn more about the business, but honestly most things they said just went right over my head. Because there were too many professional words that I couldn’t understand even if I was trying to. After the whole day meeting, we went to a famous restaurant to farewell one member of the team because he had quitted his job a month ago. And he will go to Beijing next week.
