Vocabulary

Start with a negative, then change the structure to make it a positive question.

I don’t_____    Do I?

I don’t do that, do I?

I don’t say that all the time, do I?

I’m not boring, Am I?

He’s not angry, is he?

He went there, didn’t he?

He will go there, won’t he?

I can not use the subway in Shanghai with a credit card, can I? No you can’t use the subway with a credit card.

I can use a card, can’t I?   (You think you can, but you’re not sure)

This food is great, isn’t it?  (You’re trying to get them to agree)

It’s hot outside, isn’t it?

melt – fundido, (rong hua)

eg: My ice cream melted.   It’s so hot I feel like I’m going to melt.

yawn – to stretch out your mouth when you feel sleepy

eg: People say yawns are contagious.

This last month we have been focused in not repeat mistakes and trying to be perfect on grammar. That is why we didn’t introduce more vocabulary or new grammar structures.

When I am with Initex people they must think, I am boring because I can not speak and laugh about the things they like.

I was bored in salsa class, because the lesson is too slow.

I had math class for 8 hours today, the class was so boring.  I was bored all day, because the teacher makes me want to sleep.
