I met found some interesting things
meet – to go find someone, that you made a plan with
eg: I will go meet my friend for lunch.
eg: I’ll meet you at Jing an.
come across – to meet or find (something or someone) by chance
eg: When I come across some interesting things I will film it.
eg: The dog came across a fawn in the water and rescued it.
eg: I met my friend in the park and we went for a walk. We came across a guy doing paintings on the street, so we bought one of them.
eg: We will come across a coffee shop on the way to the cinema.
eg: I was walking to work and came across 100 yuan on the ground. So I picked it up.
eg: On the way to find her boyfriend we came across an interesting store. We looked around, but didn’t buy anything.
run into – to accidentally meet, without a plan to meet it
eg: We ran into some problems when we flew to Germany.
eg: I ran into my friend when I was going to work, but we only talked for one minute because I didn’t want to be late.
paddle – push the water so you move
eg: I can do the doggy paddle. And regular swimming.
lost – to find something you had before
find – to look for something, maybe you had before, maybe it is new to you.
eg: I can’t find my phone.
eg: I don’t know how to find a new job.
