Vocabulary

obsess – to think of something all the time, too much

eg: I used to obsess over exercising my hips.

eg: I’m obsessed with exercising.

appropriate – ok for the situation

eg: Don’t talk about drinking beer around children, it’s not appropriate.

eg: This movie is not appropriate for kids, it is too violent.

eg: I need to wear appropriate clothes to work.

reps (short for repetitions) – the number of times you lift the weights, or do the movement.

eg: If you wanna get bigger, you do heavier weight and less reps.

lunges – an exercise where you put one foot forward and touch your other knee to the ground

eg: I do a lot of reps when I do lunges.

eg: For squats, I do 6 reps with heavy weight.

buff – big and strong, a lot of muscle definition, manly

eg: My legs were too buff, so I stopped exercising them.
