Jack of all trades, but master of none. – Can do many things very well, but nothing expertly.

obnoxious – annoying or objectionable due to being a showoff or attracting undue attention to oneself:

noxious – extremely harmful or dangerous to people, especially with gases or fumes(gases from solids)

eg: There’s a noxious smell in my new office, probably from the renovation.

neurotic – thinking too much about everything

eg: My partner is a bit neurotic, he always overcomplicates things.

dumb it down – to make it more simple so people can understand it

eg: He dumbs everything down when he speaks with us in the beginning. But then he goes back to normal American English for him.
