I don’t mind – it doesn’t bother me
eg: I don’t mind cold weather.
eggplant – qie zi, a long purple vegetable.
eg: I don’t really like eggplant.
Bell Peppers – qing jiao, a large pepper that is not spicy, that is green, red, yellow or orange
eg: Prince hates bell peppers, they are her least favorite food.
thick – (hou), not thin
eg: I have thick skin, so I don’t mind the cold weather.
eg: I am thick skinned, your words don’t bother me.
thin skinned – can be easily hurt by words
eg: She is really thin skinned, she cried because the boss said her work is not the best.
rusty – 1. has some rust on it 2. didn’t use or do something for a long time, so now you are not as good at it.
eg: My bike is so rusty, i’m afraid it will break.
eg: My English is so rusty, I can’t remember many words.
follow (someone’s logic) – to continue understanding them, even if they speak quickly or about sth. complicated.
eg: I can’t follow you if you speak so fast.
eg: I can’t follow you, because I don’t know enough about computers.
because I didn’t study any words, I forgot them
because I didn’t use my English, so I forgot it.
