Vocabulary

wardrobe – something you put clothes inside, usually hang them up.

eg:There are some wardrobes in the store and some houseplants to make the store feel more inviting and warm.

tag – small piece of fabric or paper that has information about the product

eg: There is no price tag, I don’t know how much it costs.

eg: This tag says how you need to wash it.

tiger – a huge orange cat.

pot – a big container

wide – how long something is from left to right, a large space between

eg: The table is 1 meter wide and 3 meters long.

narrow – a small space between

The doorway is very narrow.

Grand Opening – the first time a store opens

eg: It’s the first Grand Opening for this brand in mainland China.

basketa container usually made by weaving together long thin pieces of material

pillow – a soft thing you put your head on to sleep

hammock – 1. a thing you can lay on, usually made by weaving some fabric together.  2. a type of bed that consists of a piece of cloth hung between two trees, poles, etc.

scale – a thing you stand on to find your weight

eg: I stood on the scale and saw that I gained ten Kilos (KG).
