Vocabulary

up to. – you can decide/ it depends on you

eg: It’s up to me.     Is it up to me?

up to? – doing

eg: What are you up to?   = What are you doing?

eg: I think he is up to something. (Maybe busy, doing sth. strange)

you are up – it’s your turn

eg: We’re up next.

turnover rate – the rate at which employees leave the company

eg: “That place had an extremely high turnover rate.” Most the people that worked there, didn’t work there long. With the exception of a few veteran employees.

Senior – being older or higher level

eg: My manager is the most Senior employee, she has seniority over all the employees.

I was waited by street to go across the street because of the red light.There was one disabled people lying on the wooden platform. Another man was sitting next to him wearing clothing with patches. The second man gave a  bottle to the lying man and the lying man peed in the bottle. The sitting man just poured it out by the street. I didn’t eat my lunch on that day.
