eg: Some financial jobs are very monotonous. You just enter numbers into a computer all day.

call someone out – to criticize someone usually in front of other people

eg: It’s pretty rude to call someone out at work.

Grammar

PASSIVE VOICE:

Example: He didn’t finish the report because he was late to work.

The report hasn’t been finished.

Object + was + V. (participle)

It was eaten.

It has been done.

The window was broken by someone.

His car was destroyed.

Don’t need a SUBJECT

I made dinner.   (The subject is I.)

Dinner was made. (NO Subject, we don’t know who made dinner.)

suddenly I wake up by the laughing of the audience. (Needs Passive Voice)

eg: I was woken up.

eg: I was woken up in the classroom.

eg: I was woken up in the classroom when the teacher asked us to answer her question.
