feminine – like a woman

eg: His dad was very traditional, and a little angry that the boy was being so feminine.

eg: I have a very good male friend who is always acting feminine.

masculine – like a man

eg: Most of the UFC women are pretty masculine.

Acrobat – a person whose job is to do flips, jumps, and swing from high wires

eg: The play had some great acrobats, they were doing flips and jumping into the crowd.

Arachnid – the family of animals including spiders and scorpions

eg: Many people know the word arachnid, possibly because of the movie, “Arachnophobia” which was very popular in the 90s.

Phobia – a fear of something

eg: I’m sure there is a Phobia of deep water. But I don’t know what it’s called.

eg: I have a phobia of being in deep water.

eg: A common phobia is fear of being in small places. Which is called claustrophobia. Many people are claustrophobic.

eg: I have claustrophobia, so I need to get out of here now.

homophobic – scared of homosexuals, don’t like homosexuals

eg: Don’t be homophobic, you only need to hold her hand.

goosebumps

eg: It gives me goosebumps.

eg: eg: I don’t have trypophobia, but when I see something like that, it gives me goosebumps.

stage fright – fear of performing in front of people

eg: I get a little stage fright sometimes, so I really need to practice this speech.
