Speaking exercise

I’m in here in the SE almost 1y and in my job I have to work with some foreigners.->I have been in SE for almost 1y …

They come from a lot of countries, some are Italian and some from the UK and France.

We have some colleagues from Asian  -> We have some colleagues from Asia / we have some Asian colleagues

First because different people have different accents so I always feel confused and I cannot talk with in fluence so I feel nervous. ->I cannot talk with fluency  / I cannot talk fluently so I am nervous

Some of the are jobs and some are like … -> some of the conversations are about work

They are living in SH so a lot of the foreigners have some tasks like they have to -> a lot of foreigners meet/encounter some difficulties and need help…
we need to translate something and help them in their life.

Also like maybe we need to take them to the police station and do some information -> give some information / fill in some information

My job is administrator / I work as an administrator

the most situation is that I cannot understand them. -> Very often I cannot understand them / the most common situation is that I cannot understand them

For me I just talk with some simple words / I express myself simply so I think they will know my meaning  / I think they will know what I mean but if they speak quickly I cannot understand clearly.

It is over 3 years I am in this office. -> It has been over 3 years  / I have been in this company for over 3y

Maybe I don’t know some words so they use them and I cannot understand.

The connection is not stable

I think the British people is quite difficult but easy is Chinese. -> I think British people are difficult to understand but Chinese people are easy / easier

Chinese people if they speak in English I can understand more.
I heard a lot of English conversations.

The British people their accent sounds great but I cannot understand clearly. / I like the British accent but it also makes them hard to understand
