Today is the first day in/of July, I feel that time went very fast so half of 2021 has (already) passed.

Last half year I studied to some new skills , my English improved. Next half year I am going to continue to study my English / to keep studying my English

I went to the cinema with my best friend. In fact I had watched the movie with my sister (before that ….)
