Vocabulary

Danish – from Denmark

e.g. People from Denmark are Danish.

Fiction – not factual

e.g. My favourite books to read are fiction books

Non-fiction – factual

e.g. I can learn a lot from non-fiction books

Vending machine – a machine that dispenses snacks, food and/or drinks

e.g. I will get something out of the vending machine on my lunch break

Purified air – air that has had the pollution removed

e.g my new office provides purified air through the air conditioning
