Vocabulary

Movie/Film – I (Shane) personally always say movie.  “I went to the movies,” “I watched a movie,” etc.  It is more casual to say.

Unique Opportunity – Something that has never happened before, something that will only happen once.  Unique is something that is different from anything else (one of a kind).

Pen Pals – 2 people that write letters to eachother.

Generation – About 20-30 years of a person’s life.  The time to have children.  An “older generation” is one of the generations above you.  Your parents, or grandparents.

Big Mac – (Wu ba) The signature burger of McDonald’s.

Grammar

Remember past tense!  Lost, not lose!  Bought not have buy!

I want to introduce a film for you.  It’s not a very new film, I think it’s an old film.  It called Charlie and His Chocolate Factory.  I think it’s a film about family affections.  The film said the owner of the chocolate factory want to invite 5 children to visit his factory so he put it 5 golden tickets in the chocolate.  People who take the golden ticket can visit his factory.  And Charlie’s family is not very rich, in fact his father just lose his job because the company have buy a machine and it replace his father.  But Charlie picked up $10 on the side of the street so she used this money to buy a ticket and he was so lucky he got a golden ticket so he visited the factory with his grandfather.  The another 4 children and their family members went into the factory with him and they feel the inside of the factory is very amazing, but the four children didn’t follow the owner’s rules so they didn’t finish their visit except Charlie.  And finally the owner decided to send his factory to Charlie, but he need Charlie live with him in the factory, just Charlie not his family members.  Charlie rejected his advice and this made the owner remember his father and the reason why he established the chocolate factory and at the end of the film Charlie and his family members lived with the factory owners in that factory and they make the owner realise that the family affections is very important.

The film said The owner of the chocolate factory wanted to invite 5 children to visit his factory so he put it 5 golden tickets in the chocolate that he sells.  Whoever finds People who take the golden ticket can visit his factory.  This is a really unique opportunity because Willy Wonka (the owner of the factory) has never invited anybody to visit the factory before.

And Charlie’s family is not very rich, in fact his father just lose lost his job because the company have buy bought a machine and it to replace his father.  But Charlie picked up found $10 on the side of the street so she he used this money to buy a ticket and he was so lucky he got a golden ticket so he visited the factory with his grandfather.

This made the owner realise the importance of family relationships.
