Vocabulary
Solid (adj): 1- certain or safe; of a good standard; giving confidence or support. 2-continuing for a period of time without stopping.
E.g.:Â This provided solid evidence that he committed the crime.
E.g.:Â The drama course gives students a solid grounding in the basic techniques of acting.
E.g.:Â We should be basing our decisions on solid facts.
E.g.:Â It’s been a solid year since I last saw her.
E.g.:Â I slept for eleven solid hours.
E.g.:Â The hotel was booked solid all of December.
Grounding (n): 1-Â a knowledge of the basic facts about a particular subject.
E.g.:Â This course is designed to give drivers a grounding in car maintenance.
Knowledge (n): 1- understanding of or information about a subject that you get by experience or study, either known by one person or by people generally. 2- the state of knowing about or being familiar with something.
E.g.:Â Her knowledge of English grammar is very extensive.
E.g.:Â He has a limited knowledge of French.
E.g.:Â The details of the scandal are now common knowledge (= familiar to most people).
E.g.:Â She started to photograph the documents, safe in the knowledge that (= knowing that) she wouldn’t be disturbed for at least an hour.
E.g.:Â In this town there are only a couple of restaurants that to my knowledge (= judging from my personal experience and information) serve good food.
E.g.:Â They both deny all knowledge of the affair.
E.g.:Â It has come/been brought to our knowledge (= we have discovered) that several computers have gone missing.
Accuse (v): 1-Â to say that someone has done something morally wrong, illegal, or unkind:
E.g.:Â “It wasn’t my fault.” “Don’t worry, I’m not accusing you.”
E.g.:Â He’s been accused of robbery/murder.
E.g.:Â Are you accusing me of lying?
Neglect (v): 1- to not give enough care or attention to people or things that are your responsibility. (n: Negligence)
E.g.:Â to neglect your appearance/the house
E.g.:Â He neglects that poor dog – he never takes him for walks or gives him any attention.
E.g.:Â She’s been neglecting her studies this semester.
E.g.:Â The surgeon was accused of negligence.

Grammar
Noun = a name of a person, a thing, an animal, a place, etc.
E.g.: cup, computer, table, Shanghai, Emma, flower, umbrella, etc.
Pronoun = a word we use instead of a noun.
E.g.: I, you, he, she, it, we, they, my, mine, their, his, her, hers, yours, our, etc.
Verb = an action = anything you do.
E.g.: to do, to be, to play, to run, to go, to make, to help, to study, to speak, etc.
Adjective = a word that describes a noun or a pronoun.
E.g.: small, smart, big, beautiful, ugly, stupid, great, good, nice, terrible, hot, cold, sunny, etc.
Adverb = a word that describes a verb, adjective or another adverb and answers one of the following questions:
- How:Â easily, happily, loudly, quickly, well, slowly, sadly, etc..
- How often:Â never, always, every day, Â frequently, seldom, often, sometimes..
- When:Â now, after, before, early, yesterday, today, soon, since, etc..
- Where:Â here, there, home, inside, near, outside, away, everywhere, etc..
