Vocabulary

stroke (n): 1-a sudden change in the blood supply to a part of the brain, sometimes causing a loss of the ability to move particular parts of the body:
E.g.: She suffered/had a stroke that left her unable to speak.

hemorrhage (n): 1-a large flow of blood from a damaged blood vessel (= tube carrying blood around the body):
E.g.: a brain hemorrhage

hemorrhage (v): 1- to lose a large amount of blood in a short time:
E.g.: She started hemorrhaging while giving birth to the baby.

cesarean (section) (n): 1-an operation on a woman to allow the birth of her child through a cut made in her abdomen.

vagina (n):the part of a woman or other female mammal’s body that connects her outer sex organs to her uterus

uterus (n): 1-the organ in the body of a woman or other female mammal in which a baby develops before birth:
E.g.: Conception is the moment when a fertilized egg implants itself in a woman’s uterus.

conception (n): 1-the process of a male and a female sex cell joining and causing a baby to start to form:
E.g.: at/from the moment of conception
