I’d like to talk about parenting. It’s a contradiction to be parents. On one hand, you want to give your children as much love as possible. On the other hand, you don’t want to spare the rod and spoil the child.
If you discipline a child, you show him good discipline. But you should always act within a reasonable range.

I see bad parenting here and there. One day, when I was at the beach, I saw an angry father kicked his son just because the boy had got lost while his father was playing on his smartphone.

Getting lost is always traumatising and the kid didn’t need to be punished on top of that.
It infuriated me and made my blood boil. Parents should know children have very permeable brains. They suck in whatever their parents give to them.
If you read them a poem repeatedly, they can recite it someday.

If what they get is mistreatment, how can they learn to love this world?
There are also these (kinds of) parents who force their views on their children.

When you want your children to play the piano but they just want to play with a screwdriver, you should just let them because it also helps them acquire handy skills. Only by doing what they like will they want/be willing to walk the extra mile.

I wasn’t a mother yet two years ago. Back then, I didn’t need to wait for my son to fall asleep in order to rest.

A lesson is knowledge you study in class. You learn a lesson and you do it in class.
