F2F Class Notes November 20th (Ben) [2/3/1]

Last week, I told you I got a job and that it paid me very well

I should have told you I didn’t tell you the truth and I should have told you the whole story.

I just told you the upsides but didn’t tell you the downsides. The downside of this job is that I should go to Cambodia for more than a year. That’s because the company has recently drawn the blueprints of a project and they need someone to carry it out there. And they also want me to do it pro bono for the first year

I know that you always recommend me not to sell myself short.

But I have considered that seriously, I think it’s an opportunity I should seize and I want to launch my career in architecture, so this could be my first steps. And I know you might have a different opinion about this but horses for courses, let’s agree to disagree.

I rejected this job (offer).
