Speaking exercise

Next year my husband and I will go to Australia, but we haven’t check theres weather, culture and what kind of stuff we can take it from Australia. But I know in Australia country a lot of desert, and many kangaroo and I know their people will speak English. I check website, the website show some picture, some place, water is red but I don’t know the picture is real or not. I really want to go there to hiking and see their environment. I have friends, they are living in Australia, they invite us to visit them. So we decided next year to go to Australia.

The website shows pictures of different parts of Australia. One of the places featured is on the seaside and the water over there is red,  but I don’t know if the picture is real or not. I really want to go there to do some hiking and see their environment. I have friends living in Australia and they invited us to visit them, so we decided to go to Australia next year.

stranded (adj): 1- unable to leave somewhere because of a problem such as not having any transport or money:

viral (adj): 1-used to describe something that quickly becomes very popular or well known by being published on the internet or sent from person to person by email, phone, etc.:
E.g.: Here’s a list of the top ten viral videos this week.
E.g.: Within days the film clip went viral.

flock (n): 1-a group of sheep, goats, or birds: 2- a large group of people, usually people of a particular type:
E.g.1: a flock of sheep/goats/geese
E.g.1: The shepherd is bringing his flock down from the hills.
E.g.2: A noisy flock of tourists came into the building.

prime time (n): 1-in television and radio broadcasting, the time when the largest number of people are watching or listening:
E.g.: The interview will be broadcast during prime time.

competitive edge (n): 1-the fact that a company has an advantage over its competitors:
E.g.: The low overheads of the company gave it a competitive edge over other retailers
