Vocabulary

diagnosis(n): 1- a judgment about what a particular illness or problem is, made after examining it:
E.g.: “What was the diagnosis?” “Arthritis in both joints.”
E.g.: The doctor has made an initial diagnosis.

diagnose (v): 1- to recognize and name the exact character of a disease or a problem, by examining it:
E.g.: The specialist diagnosed cancer.
E.g.: His condition was diagnosed as some type of blood disorder.

jet lag (n): 1-the feeling of tiredness and confusion that people experience after making a long journey by plane to a place where the time is different from the place they left:
E.g.: Every time I fly to the States, I get really bad jet lag.

jet-lagged (adj): 1 feeling tired because of the effects of taking a long plane journey through different time zones:
E.g.: They checked into their hotel, feeling weary and jet-lagged.

Speaking exercise

Last weekend my parents in law they come to China from Germany, so my husband and I invited them to visit our apartment. In the same day afternoon we went to tea shop to buy some tea because his mother like to drink tea. After then we went to eat lunch and then they went back to hotel to get a rest, because they’re really jet-lagged. At night we went to Bund to have a dinner, there’s a Yunnan restaurant. By the way drink some liquor.
