Vocabulary

hypothesis (n): 1-an idea or explanation for something that is based on known facts but has not yet been proved:
E.g.: Several hypotheses for global warming have been suggested.

mean (adj): 1-not willing to give or share things, especially money:
E.g.: He’s too mean to buy her a ring.
E.g.: My landlord’s very mean with the heating – it’s only on for two hours each day.
2- unkind or unpleasant:
E.g.: Stop being so mean to me!
E.g.: She just said it to be mean.

kimono (n): 1-a long, loose piece of outer clothing with very wide sleeves, traditionally worn by the Japanese

volcano (n): 1- a mountain with a large, circular hole at the top through which lava (= hot liquid rock) gases, steam, and dust are or have been forced out:
E.g.: an extinct/dormant volcano–An extinct volcano is one that is not now active (= will not explode again).
E.g.: an active volcano
E.g.: Erupting volcanoes discharge massive quantities of dust into the stratosphere.

erupt (v): 1- When a volcano erupts, it explodes and flames and rocks come out of it:
E.g.: Since the volcano last erupted, many houses have been built in a dangerous position on its slopes.

sushi (n): 1-寿司. 2-a type of Japanese food consisting of squares or balls of cold boiled rice, with small pieces of other food, especially raw fish, on top or rolled inside
E.g.: A sushi knife can cut a single human hair.
E.g.: At a sushi restaurant, you sit and the table moves!

dip (v): 1- to put something into a liquid for a short time:
E.g.: Dip the fish in the batter, then drop it into the hot oil.
E.g.: She dipped her toe into the pool to see how cold it was.

dip (n): 1-a cold, thick sauce that you eat by dipping pieces of uncooked vegetable or biscuits, etc. into it
2-a quick swim:
E.g.: a dip in the sea/pool

Speaking exercise

One of my travel dream is go to Japan. Japan has a lot of delicious food, something like their sea food, their famous chocolate and Michelin star restaurants. Japan also has interesting land, like The Tokyo Disneyland, The Park of Harry Potter and I want to go there I think that will be very amazing. There are also have a lot of warm spring I want to go into it. I want to wear the traditional Japanese clothes. I want to visit Fuji mountain and try their local food (sushi)

One of my dream destinations is Japan. Japan has a lot of delicious food, sea food, their famous chocolate and Michelin star restaurants. Japan also has many interesting movie parks, like The Tokyo Disneyland, The Park of Harry Potter I want to go there and I think that it will be amazing. There are also many hot springs and I would love to dip myself in one of those. Also I would love to wear the traditional Japanese clothes. I want to visit Fuji mountain and try their local food (sushi)
