Vocabulary

negotiate (v): 1-to have formal discussions with someone in order to reach an agreement with them:
E.g.: I’m negotiating for a new contract.
E.g.: We need someone who is practised at negotiating business deals.

discuss (v): 1- to talk about a subject with someone and tell each other your ideas or opinions. 2-to talk or write about a subject in detail, especially considering different ideas and opinions related to it:
E.g.: I’m very interested in your idea – shall we discuss it over lunch?
E.g.: Stop shouting and let’s discuss this reasonably.

shout (v): 1-to speak with a very loud voice, often as loud as possible, usually when you want to make yourself heard in noisy situations, or when the person you are talking to is a long way away or cannot hear very well: 2- to express strong emotions, such as anger, fear, or excitement, or to express strong opinions, in a loud voice:
E.g.: He shouted from the garage that he’d be finished in about half an hour.
E.g.: Dad really shouted at me when I broke the window.

landlord (n): 1- a person or organization that owns a building or an area of land and is paid by other people for the use of it: 2-房东.
E.g.: The landlord had promised to redecorate the bedrooms before we moved in.

village (n): 1- a group of houses and other buildings that is smaller than a town, usually in the countryside: 2-村庄
E.g.: It’s a little fishing village with very narrow streets.
E.g.: Our farm is a few miles north of the village.
