buffer stock (n):extra products, supplies, etc that a company keeps, so it always has enough available to sell or use:

Buffer stock refers to an amount of physical stock that a company keeps on hand to protect against unexpected supply and demand variations. Choosing the right amount of this type of stock can be a difficult balance between waste and shortfall.

buffer (n): 1-something or someone that helps protect from harm:
E.g.: I bought a house as a buffer against inflation.

amortize (v): 1-to spread the value or cost of an asset in accounts over a number of years:
E.g.: amortize sth over sth Companies use depreciation to amortize fixed assets over their usable life.
E.g.: The value of the machinery is amortized over its estimated useful life.

“Monday to Friday” would include all of the days inbetween (i.e. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). In most cases (e.g. “I work Monday to Friday”) it is understood to include Friday as well.

“Monday through Friday” is explicit in including Friday.

If someone says “pick a number from 1 to 10” this would normally include “10.” Saying “through” just makes it explicit.
