Vocabulary

oppose (v): 1- to disagree with something or someone, often by speaking or fighting against it, him, or her:
E.g.: The proposed new testing system has been vigorously opposed by teachers.
E.g.: Most of the local residents opposed the closing of the school.

opposition (n): 1- strong disagreement:
E.g.: There is a lot of opposition to the proposed changes.

the Opposition (n): 1-in some political systems, the elected politicians who belong to the largest party that does not form the government:
E.g.: the Leader of the Opposition
E.g. :The Opposition has/have condemned the government’s proposed tax increases.

embassy (n): 1-大使馆

ambassador (n): 1-大使
E.g. : She’s a former ambassador to the United States.

virtue (n): 1- a good moral quality in a person, or the general quality of being morally good:
E.g.: Patience is a virtue.
