Vocabulary

petition (n): 1-a document signed by a large number of people demanding or asking for some action from the government or another authority:
E.g.: I signed a petition against the proposed closure of the local hospital today.

naturalization (n): 1-the process of becoming or making someone a citizen of a country that they were not born in:
E.g.: The new system was trialed with more than 6,000 immigrants who were applying for naturalization.
E.g.: a naturalization application/certificate/petition

naturalize (v):to make someone a citizen of a country they were not born in, or to become a citizen of a country you were not born in:
E.g.: be/become naturalized About 700,000 immigrants were naturalized as citizens last year, officials said.
E.g.: Not all permanent residents are eligible to naturalize.
E.g.: a naturalized citizen

eligible (adj): 1-合格的,having the necessary qualities or satisfying the necessary conditions:
E.g.: Are you eligible for early retirement/maternity leave?
E.g.: You might be eligible for a grant.
E.g.: Only people over 18 are eligible to vote.
