Vocabulary
escape (v): 1- to get free from something, or to avoid something:
E.g.: Two prisoners have escaped.
E.g.: A lion has escaped from its cage.
at ease-relaxed:
E.g.: He felt completely at ease.
E.g.: She soon put/set me at ease (= made me relaxed) .
solitude (n): 单独, the situation of being alone without other people:
E.g.: a life of solitude
E.g.: After months of solitude at sea it felt strange to be in company.
solitary (adj): 1-being the only one, or not being with other similar things, often by choice:
E.g: I live a solitary life.
E.g. :He enjoys solitary walks in the wilderness.
tap into something (V): 1-to manage to use something in a way that brings good results:
E.g.: If only we could tap into all that energy and creativity.
regenerate (v): 1-to grow again:
E.g.: Tissue regenerates after skin is scratched.
E.g.: A lizard can regenerate its tail.
immerse (v): to become completely involved in something:
E.g.: She got some books out of the library and immersed herself in European history and culture.
2-to put something or someone completely under the surface of a liquid:
E.g.: The shells should be immersed in boiling water for two minutes.
