Vocabulary

Mist is similar to fog and the only difference lies in their densities. A mist is much less dense than fog and it is said to be a mist if visibility is greater than 1km. It becomes a fog if one can see less than 1 km.

mist/fog-
E.g.: Thick/Heavy/Dense fog has made driving conditions dangerous.
E.g.: Mist, fog, and snow are common in this area.

moisture (n): 1-a liquid such as water in the form of very small drops, either in the air, in a substance, or on a surface:
E.g.: These plants need a rich soil that retains moisture.

damp (adj): 1– slightly wet, especially in a way that is not pleasant or comfortable:
or on a surface:
E.g.: The grass is still damp.
E.g.: This shirt still feels a bit damp.
E.g.: Put those damp clothes in the tumble dryer.

moist (adj): 1-slightly wet, especially in a good way:BETTER DON”T USE IT TOO MUCH

E.g.: Keep the soil in the pot moist, but not too wet.
E.g.: This cake is nice and moist!

put something/someone off-to decide or arrange to delay an event or activity until a later time or date:

E.g.: I can’t put off going to the dentist any longer.

procrastinate (v)-to keep delaying something that must be done, often because it is unpleasant or boring:
E.g.: I know I’ve got to deal with the problem at some point – I’m just procrastinating.
E.g.: When it comes to housework, I tend to procrastinate.

abortion (n): 1-堕胎, the intentional ending of a pregnancy:
E.g.: She decided to have/get an abortion.
E.g.: Abortion is restricted in some American states.
