breaststroke (n): a way of swimming in which the arms make a circular movement in front of the body while the knees are brought up towards the body and then kicked out and back:
E.g.:I can only do the breaststroke.
lap (n): a complete trip around a race track that is repeated several times during a competition:
E.g.: He recorded the fastest lap in last weekend’s Hungarian Grand Prix.
E.g.: After a strong start, she was passed by several runners in/on the final/last lap and finished ninth.
