Vocabulary

energize (v): 1-to make someone feel energetic or eager:
E.g.: I felt very energized after my holiday.

insult (v): 1-to say or do something to someone that is rude or offensive:
E.g.: First he drank all my wine and then he insulted all my friends.

drunk (adj): 1- unable to speak or act in the usual way because of having had too much alcohol:
E.g.: I got completely drunk at my sister’s wedding.
E.g.: I’d had a couple of glasses of wine but I certainly wasn’t drunk.
E.g.: He came home last night blind (= extremely) drunk.

blind (adj): unable to see:
E.g.: She’s been blind since birth.
E.g.: He started to go (= become) blind in his sixties.
E.g.: Look, the cups are right in front of you. Are you blind?

deaf (adj): 1- unable to hear, either completely or partly:
E.g.: He’s been totally/partially deaf since birth.
