Vocabulary

warm up (v): 1-to prepare yourself for a physical activity by doing some gentle exercises and stretches:
E.g.: If you don’t warm up before exercising, you risk injuring yourself.

stretch (v): 1- to make your body or your arms and legs straight so that they are as long as possible, in order to exercise the joints (= place where two bones are connected) after you have been in the same place or position for a long time:
E.g.: “I’m so tired,” she said, yawning and stretching.
E.g.: It’s a good idea to stretch before you do vigorous exercise.

strength (n): 1- the ability to do things that need a lot of physical or mental effort:
E.g.: They gave him soup to build up his strength.
E.g.: You must eat to keep your strength up.

dumbbell (n): 哑铃 1-a short bar with a weight on each end that you lift up and down to make your arm and shoulder muscles stronger

skipping rope (n): 1-a rope that is used for skipping

skip (v): 1-jump rope, skip rope to jump lightly over a rope that is held in both your hands, or by two other people, and turned repeatedly under your legs and over your head as exercise or a game:
E.g.: Sports players often train by skipping.

push up (n): 1-a physical exercise in which you lie flat with your face towards the floor and try to push up your body with your arms while keeping your legs and your back straight
