F2F Class Notes (Nemo)

This afternoon (Mar,21) I had a business meeting with Fiona and Doris from AY /SHA. Fiona is the sales manager for mainland China, her territory is all stations of AY, except SHA, Doris is in charge of all SHA sales businesses. We talked about AY’s new routing from Nanjing what will be started from May,14. There will be 5 PAX flights from Nanjing to Helsinki . The detail flight schedule will be published in the middle of Apr.
They also have the regular routings from Chongqing, Beijing to Helsinki and seasonal routings from Xian and Guangzhou.

Meanwhile, I also introduced our main trade lanes in EU and US, also illustrated related commodities on these lanes.
For EMEA, our main destination ports are MIL, CDG, LHR etc. but AY’s most capacity is from Helsinki to BRU, and LHR, for both of these two destinations they have daily passenger flight and 2 freighters per week. From Helsinki to Milano, there is only narrow body flight, so the capacity is limited.

For US lane, their main ports are JFK, CHI, MIA etc, but no LAX. Now they are also operating the cargoes to South America via MIA airport, the transit service from MIA to South America will be controlled by forwarder instead of airlines.

Now JAS and AY have some businesses cooperation from Chongqing to Europe , but the space was booked by other forwarder who has the contract with AY. Fiona is looking forward
JAS/SHA would has a contract with AY in the future.
