Vocabulary

loaf (n): 1- bread that is shaped and baked in a single piece and can be sliced for eating:
E.g.: two loaves of white bread
E.g.: I baked a loaf of brown bread.
E.g.: Ask the baker to slice the loaf for you.

bar (n): 1-a substance that has been made into a solid rectangular shape:
E.g.: a bar of soap
E.g.: a chocolate bar

rectangle (n): 1- a flat shape with four 90° angles and four sides, with opposite sides of equal length
E.g.: The area of a rectangle is its height times its width.
E.g.: The rectangle is 5 cm long and 1.9 cm wide.

rectangular (adj): 1- shaped like a rectangle
E.g.: The room is roughly rectangular.
E.g.: a rectangular area of grass

teaspoon (n): 1- a small spoon used to stir (= mix) tea or coffee in a cup
tablespoon (n): 1-(the amount held by) a large spoon used for measuring or serving food:
E.g.: three tablespoons of sugar

can (n): 1-also tin can, uk also tin a closed metal container, especially cylinder-shaped, in which some types of drink and food are sold:
E.g.: a can of soup/beans

carton (n): 1-a box made from thick cardboard, for storing goods, or a container made from cardboard or plastic, in which milk or fruit juice, etc. is sold:

jar (n): 1-a glass or clay container with a wide opening at the top and sometimes a fitted lid, usually used for storing food:
E.g.: a jar of coffee/pickled onions
