loaf (n):loaves 1- bread that is shaped and baked in a single piece and can be sliced for eating:
E.g.: two loaves of white bread
E.g.: They shared a loaf and some cheese.
E.g.: I bought five loaves of bread.
E.g.: I baked a loaf of brown bread.

jar (n): 1-a glass or clay container with a wide opening at the top and sometimes a fitted lid, usually used for storing food:
E.g.: a jar of coffee/pickled onions
E.g.: a jam jar

lid (n): 1- a cover on a container, that can be lifted up or removed:
E.g.: Can you get the lid off this jar?
E.g.: Put a lid on the saucepan.

saucepan (n): 平底锅 1-a deep, round pan with straight sides, usually with a handle and a lid, used for cooking things over heat
E.g.: Empty the soup into a saucepan and simmer gently for ten minutes.

simmer (v): 1-to cook something liquid, or something with liquid in it, at a temperature slightly below boiling:
E.g.: Leave the vegetables to simmer for a few minutes.

stew (n): 1-a type of food consisting usually of meat or fish and vegetables cooked slowly in a small amount of liquid:
E.g.: lamb/bean/fish stew
E.g.: She prepared a hearty stew for dinner.

bar (n): 1-a substance that has been made into a solid rectangular shape:

gravy (n): 1-a sauce made with meat juices and flour, served with meat and vegetables

lump (n): 1- a piece of a solid substance, usually with no particular shape:
E.g.: a lump of coal
E.g.: a lump of butter
E.g.: a sugar lump
E.g.: You don’t want lumps in the sauce.

teaspoon (n): 1-a small spoon used to stir (= mix) tea or coffee in a cup

tablespoon (n): 1-(the amount held by) a large spoon used for measuring or serving food:
E.g.: three tablespoons of sugar

sip (v): 1-to drink, taking only a very small amount at a time:
E.g.: This tea is very hot, so sip it carefully.
E.g.: She slowly sipped (at) her wine.

sip (n):- Drink your coffee slowly, one sip at the time, it is very hot.

plural (n):1 – a word or form that expresses more than one:
E.g.: “Geese” is the plural of “goose”.
E.g.: “Woman” in the plural is “women”.
