fee (n): 1-an amount of money paid for a particular piece of work or for a particular right or service:
E.g.: legal fees
E.g.: university fees
E.g.: an entrance/registration fee
E.g.: We couldn’t pay the lawyer’s fee.

expenses (n): 1-money that you spend when you are doing your job, that your employer will pay back to you:
E.g.: I need to get my expenses approved.
E.g.: Don’t worry about the cost of lunch – it’s on expenses.
