Vocabulary
stained glass (n): 1-glass that has been colored and cut into different shapes to make pictures or patterns, used especially in church windows:
E.g.: a stained glass window
stain (n): 1-a dirty mark on something that is difficult to remove:
E.g.: a blood/grass stain
E.g.: You can remove a red wine stain from a carpet by sprinkling salt over it.
stain (v): 1- to leave a mark on something that is difficult to remove:
E.g.: Tomato sauce stains terribly – it’s really difficult to get it out of clothes.
E.g.: While she was changing the wheel on her car, her coat had become stained with oil.
remove (v): 1- to take something or someone away from somewhere, or off something:
E.g.: The men came to remove the rubbish from the backyard.
E.g.: This detergent will remove even old stains.
E.g.: It got so hot that he removed his tie and jacket.
pattern (n): 1-any regularly repeated arrangement, especially a design made from repeated lines, shapes, or colours on a surface:
E.g.: Look, the frost has made a beautiful pattern on the window.
E.g.: The curtains had a floral pattern.

E.g.: They went out at sunrise to go bird-watching.
