Vocabulary
current (n)(FLOW)-a movement of water, air, or electricity in a particular direction:
E.g.: to swim against/with the current
E.g.: He was swept out to sea by the strong current.
E.g.: Switch off the electric current before changing the bulb.
inland (adj): 1-in the middle of a country, away from the sea:
E.g.: The Black Sea is a large inland sea.
plantation (n): 1-a large farm, especially in a hot part of the world, on which a particular type of crop is grown:
E.g.: a tea/cotton/rubber plantation
bitter (adj): 1-with an unpleasantly sharp taste:
E.g.: a bitter flavour/taste/liquid
chapel (n): 1- a room that is part of a larger building and is used for Christian worship:
E.g.: The college/hospital/prison has its own chapel.
E.g.: the Chapel of St Paul
