Vocabulary

comedy (n): 1-a (type of) film, play, or book that is intentionally funny either in its characters or its action:
E.g.: His new movie is described as a “romantic comedy“.

describe (v): 1-to say or write what someone or something is like:
E.g.: Could you describe your day?
E.g.: He described the painting in detail.

painting (n): 1-a picture made using paint:
E.g.: The walls are covered in oil paintings.

subtitles (n): 1-words shown at the bottom of a film or television picture to explain what is being said:
E.g.: The Chinese movie was shown with English subtitles.
E.g.: The evening news has subtitles for the deaf.

deaf (adj): 1- unable to hear, either completely or partly:
E.g.: He’s been totally/partially deaf since birth.

blind (adj): 1- unable to see:
E.g.: She’s been blind since birth.
