A book review – The Courage To Be Disliked

This book is written in the form of a narrative dialogue between a philosopher and a young man. Through their dialogue, readers can get an easy understanding of Alfred Adler’s philosophical and psychological ideas and teachings. This book is not preachy at all; neither is it a chicken soup for the soul. It naturally leads me to reflect on myself, calm myself down, and helps me make better choices. It makes me down-to-earth.

After reading the Chinese version, I was greatly impacted. So I’ve decided to read the English version as well.

When I first read the Chinese version, I was mistaken by its translated title —— 被讨厌的勇气. Why does one hate courage? I inquire.
