Last week was Saint Patrick’s day, but I didn’t notice anyone wearing green. I wasn’t paying attention.

one sentence has one subject and one verb

I don’t often go out.

you can add more verbs if you change their aspect (no infinite! 不定式是禁止的!)

I like shopping. = I like to shop. (“I like shop” = wrong)

I try to work hard. (“I try work” = wrong)

Let’s go shopping.

exception : go + 不定式

Let’s go drink. (ok, but “Let’s go drinking” is better)
