In China,most parents think you should marry to somebody when you are in suitable age.Then you will have babies and raise them. Parents think if you are single and then you’ll be lonely when you become old. Sometimes Chinese parents think that marriage is not only for you but for people around you. In someone’s opinion,marriage is people’s responsibility. Some parents will compare their children’s partner with their familiar friends’ children’s.It is harder for male in marriage than for female when they get married at first. In china, most of the parents consider male should take care of female ,so female’s parents will think about male’s job, age, family and a lot of things. Because they are worried about daughter’s future.They hope the male can take care of their daughter’s lives in the future.They will request males a lot at first. But nowadays, female’s abilities are better and better and they can control their own lives well.So their views on marriage have changed. They think they can finish most things themselves and they don’t have to depend on partners. So that they choose partners by their feelings not objective things. Now people choose partners depends on their own feelings more than objective things. But of course if the partner is handsome or beautiful and have a lot of money. What a perfect thing!

Some parents will compare their children’s partner with others. There are more requirements for the men in a marriage. In china, most of the parents believe that the men should provide for the family, so they will take his job, his family background and education into consideration, because they are worried about their daughter’s future.They hope the guy can take care of their daughter’s life in the future.They will demand a lot from the guy. But nowadays, the girls are financially independent and they can take control of their lives .So their views on marriage have changed. They think they can finish most things by themselves and they don’t have to depend on their partners. So they could choose their partners subjectively. But of course if the partner is good-looking and rich/wealthy, that’d be even better!
