Vocabulary
Data aggregate- When you put together different information or data, for the purpose of doing research or selling it.
e.g. Hewitt is a very well known data aggregate company.
Sue- To try and get money from someone in the court of law.
e.g. The employee sued the company because they didn’t pay him a severance package.
Labour laws- Laws of a country that are related to work.
e.g. The labour laws state that employees shouldn’t work more than 8 hours a day.
Retain- To keep
e.g. My company has a very strong retention rate, because we offer competitive benefits.
Savings fund- Money that you deposit into a special account for later use.
e.g. My company gives every employee a savings fund where they deposit 5% of their salary.
Rice dumpling- Zong zi
e.g. We eat rice dumplings during the dragon boat festival.
Qualitative-Something to do with a description of something or the feeling of it.
e.g. Consumer insight research is usually qualitative.
Quantitative- Things that have to do with quantity, how much of something.
e.g. Hewitt is a quantitative data distributor.
