draw the line = choose what is OK and what is not

breach 违反 = fail to keep a promise or an agreement

Westerners can tolerate being late, making mistakes and even being a bit rude in business, but lying is where they draw the line. If they understand you did it, they will get really angry and never do business with you again. And you have breached their trust forever.

Okay so that’s where we draw the line.

Sometimes you need to draw the line, and decide what you will or won’t accept.

With girls, I draw the line at cleanliness. If they can’t groom properly, I will walk out the door.
